About The Author

About Bev Weirather

Bev Weirather grew up in Hamilton, Illinois. She relocated to Keokuk, Iowa, in 1976. After watching Billy Graham on television in the summer of 1973, she gave her life to the lord and became a born-again Christian. In 1989, she began attending Agape Fellowship Church in Keokuk, Iowa. The church later changed its name to Faith Family Church. It was in this church that she grew up spiritually and was introduced to some of the greatest ministries in the world. Their teachings changed her life and were crucial in her development as a Christian.

Bev has worked in the children’s ministry at Faith Family Church for over twenty years. She has enjoyed visiting the elderly in nursing and convalescent centers and leading many residents to the Lord. Bev believes that she has the call of evangelism on her life-the call to lead unbelievers to Jesus. As a United States Postal Worker (USPS), Bev had the opportunity to meet many people one-on-one and to share the love of God with them. She was able to pray for those who had a need from God and witnessed the power of God at work in their lives.

In 2004, Bev became a licensed jail minister for Jail Ministry for Jesus. She has been privileged to preach and teach at a local county jail and at a local detention center, and she has seen many men and women come to the saving grace that only Jesus provides.

After working for the United States Postal System for twenty years, Bev made a career change and began working for the Keokuk Community School District as a licensed para-educator. She continues to encourage others daily with her heart of compassion.

Bev has three daughters, Angela Wise, Kimberly Settles, and Andrea Weirather, and one son, Daniel Ringstrom. Bev married Mark Weirather in September of 1994. She and her husband reside in Keokuk, Iowa.
